Spawake Moisturising Cold Cream Review

HELLLLLLLLLOOOOO!

Okay, after celebrating the festival of Lohri with my family and closed ones, I am back home. Kite flying kept us occupied during the day and we wrapped up the day by lighting bonfire, singing and dancing around it. An awesome day it was! :)

Today, I shall be reviewing a skin care product from the brand Spawake. I reviewed couple of Spawake products in my previous posts. Till now I have had mixed experience with this brand.

PRODUCT BEING REVIEWED:
Spawake Moisturising Cold Cream
Read on to know if this cream deserves a place in your winter skin care regimen.

PRICE:
It is priced at INR 129 for 25g.

SHELF LIFE:
36 Months

APT FOR:
The description on the product says, "For All Skin Types."

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
How it works: A deeply hydrating cream that protects against harsh cold weather and helps relieve dry, rough and chapped skin. Its extra-rich texture melts on skin for immediate calming and soothing effects.
Delivers nourishing SEA MINERALS and Vitamin E deep inside your skin* and seals in moisture for long-lasting hydration.
Results: Your skin feels soft, supple and extremely comfortable all day long.

*within the Stratum Corneum

HOW TO USE:
After cleaning your face and neck, apply Spawake Moisturising Cold Cream over face and neck.

MY EXPERIENCE:
Packaging: Like other Spawake Creams, Spawake Moisturising Cold Cream also comes in a sky blue plastic jar with a screw cap. It also has a white plastic lid inside the cap. One has to pull the lid to get the cream. One main point that's mentioned is that the cap must be closed tightly after each use to maintain product quality. Packaging is decent and travel-friendly.

Color and Texture: The cream is milky white in color. It has got rich creamy texture.

Fragrance: Sweet, mesmerising floral fragrance it has got! The fragrance lingers on for some time.

Results: An effective cold-cream is a 'must-have' skin care product if you want to keep your skin soft and hydrated in harsh, cold winter season but most of the cold creams are thick, oil based and greasy in nature. Spawake Moisturising Cold Cream isn't that greasy but still I avoid using the same on my face durig the day as it does form a greasy or oily layer on the skin.
A little quantity is needed and it gets absorbed into the skin like a dream. I love this cold cream for the instant calming and soothing effect it has on the skin.
Coming to the moisturising part, it is quite effective. It helps relieve dry, rough and chapped skin and my skin feels very soft, supple and healthy post its application.

DO WE RECOMMEND?
It is a decent skin care product that does what it claims effectively. So, yes, we do!

BGTL'S RATING:
3.5/5
