Bonjour Beautiful Souls!
So, here I was, pissed off with skin problems, surfing internet, looking for some easy-peasy ways to permanently get rid off of these and get back clean, radiant skin. Being a super lazy person, I always look for shortcuts and I finally got my answer: NIGHT-TIME BEAUTY ROUTINE.
Why night-time skin care is important?
While you sleep, the skin is working its hardest to repair itself. Thus, making night-time beauty routine an indispensable part of your skin care. Imagine you could sleep the night away and wake up next morning with fresh, healthy, prettier skin. What more can a lazy bum dream of?
So, without giving any second thought, I started with a legit night-time skin care routine and it has been 1 whole month now and results are far far far better than my expectations. So, here's a guide to create a night-time routine:
1. Cleanse your face: During the course of the day, our skin goes through so much: dirt, pollution, makeup and collects excess oil and dead skin cells. Cleansing your face using a good cleanser helps to remove them from the surface of your skin.
2. Ensure all makeup has come off: Sleeping with your makeup on can seriously damage your skin and make it look dull. Clogged pores caused by stale make-up can lead to oily skin and occasional break outs. So, ensure all makeup has come off before you hit the bed. I recommend Maybelline Clean Express Total Clean as it removes even stubborn waterproof makeup without causing irritation and is budget-friendly.
3. Tone: Toners remove impurities and any leftover residue, works on enlarged pores and refreshens your skin. Be sure to choose an appropriate type for your skin's needs and apply to your face and neck. I use Patanjali Divya Rose Water as toner and recommend the same.
4. Treatment: The type of treatments you should use depends on your skincare issues.
- If you are having dark circles, before hitting the sack, apply some almond oil over your dark circles and massage it gently into the skin; leave the oil on overnight and wash it off with cold water next morning.
- If acne is the problem, apply Lacto Calamine and acne will be history.
5. Layer it with a moisturiser/night cream: Last step is to use a moisturiser or a night cream before you take off to your dream world. This will help repair your skin as well as hydrate it.
Night care is one of the easiest and best things you can do for your skin. 10 minutes time is all you need to wake up prettier.
Do share with us your beauty secrets. :)
Stay pretty, stay blessed.
Love,
xoxo
