L'Oreal Professional Beach Waves Spray | Review and Method to Use

Heya lovelies!
It's that time of the year again when you'll be going off for a vacation, hitting the beach and having loads of sun. Don't we all just love Summers?

Talking about the beach, I have always been attracted towards Beach Waves hair and have tried various ways from Tongs to curlers to get that wavy look. But what do you do when you really don't have time to visit a salon or spend 30minutes to get that right look?

L'Oreal Professional has actually heard all our cries and has come up with a special product - Wild Stylers Tecni Art Beach Waves Spray - which helps to get a 'fresh from the beach look' right at home.

PRICE :
It is a studio range product priced at INR 700 for 150ml .

HOW TO USE :
While its written that the for Beach Waves Texturising Salt Spray can be used both on wet and dry hair, I actually didn't find good results on dry hair.

Therefore, it is better that you use the product on towel-dried or blow-dried hair.

For a perfect, wavy look that will last for hours, follow these steps :
  1. After shampooing, towel-dry or blow-dry your hair and de-tangle them with a comb.
  2. Hold the product a little away from your hair and spray directly on to the lengths and ends of your tresses gently pushing the waves in as you spray. Use your fingers to define the waves for a perfect finish.
  3. For a more defined finish, divide your hair into 3-4 sections, twist them and tie them into various buns by securing with a clip or band.
  4. Remove the clip or band once your hair are completely dry and use your fingers to detangle the buns.
MY EXPERIENCE:
At first, I had tried this product on completely dry hair by spraying it over the length of my hair and defined the waves with my fingers. While I did get the wavy effect instantly, it didn't last long and my hair were back to normal with a matte effect within an hour.

Effect on my hair post application on Dry hair
So, next time I gave this product a try over towel-dried hair, and I did have a better experience.
After spraying Beach Waves by Tecni Art on my damp hair, I divided my hair into 3 sections and tied them in a bun and left them on to dry for an hour.

After untying my hair and detangling the buns, my hair had this beautiful Wavy effect with a matte and dry texture. I am not complaining about the dry texture it leaves on the hair, as even beach hair has the same effect due to the salt.

FINAL VERDICT :
I would say this is a great buy if you are looking for a product that delivers a matte, light Beach Waves result without having to visit a salon or spending hours to get the perfect look with a curler.

However, don't expect dramatic results because at the end it is just a Spray and can only give you a temporary effect.

BGTL's RATING :
3.5 out of 5
